According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, two New  Bloomfield residents were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Monday.  Sources familiar with the accident say that it occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Monday afternoon when a Jeep, driven by a 16-year old Missouri man, broadsided a 2000 Mercury driven by a 60-year old woman, pushing it into the path of a 1996 Oldsmobile heading the other direction. The two injured individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment for their injuries.

College Baseball Player Killed in Accident

A former baseball player for Missouri Southern was killed in a car accident on Monday. The 22-year old transfer was involved in an accident in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had transferred to Missouri Southern after playing junior college baseball.

Three-Car Accident Kills One Missouri Man

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 41-year old man from Montrose died on Saturday as a result of a three-vehicle accident in Henry County. The accident occurred just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, and authorities believe that the accident occurred when the man’s 2003 Mazda was involved in a minor collision with another car, then crossed the median and was struck by a pickup truck.

Missouri Trooper Escapes Injury In Accident

A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper was unharmed after his vehicle was struck by a motorist while parked on Interstate I-55 in Jefferson County on Sunday. The trooper’s vehicle was parked on the eastbound side of the interstate when it was struck by a 22-year old Missouri man. The officer was not in the vehicle at the time, and was able to leave the scene without medical attention. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Two Missouri Men Injured In Head-On Collision

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that two Bolivar men were injured in a head-on collision on Polk County 54, a few miles north of Bolivar.  The collision occurred when a 2000 Ford F-150 truck driven by a 21-year old man struck a 2002 Cadillac operated by another Missouri man. The two men in the truck suffered mild-to-moderate injuries and were taken to Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

A 22-year old Bourbon, Missouri woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday morning on I-44.  Authorities say that the woman was driving the wrong-way down the interstate’s westbound lanes when she struck a tractor-trailer head-on. The accident reportedly occurred just before 2 a.m. on Sunday.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck was uninjured.

Off-Ramp Accident Kills Missouri Driver

A 59-year old Missouri man was killed on Thursday when his Toyota Corolla went off the road as he exited the I-270 ramp on Thursday evening.
