Car Accident Results in $850,000 to Injured Driver
$850,000.00 Settlement – A driver pulled out dangerously in front of a tractor-trailer on a Barry County highway, causing the truck driver to swerve. As a result, the driver lost control of the truck, colliding with the negligent motorist’s vehicle and subsequently crashing into the side of the plaintiff’s car. At the time of the event, the plaintiff’s arm was resting on the outside of the door, where it was crushed by the truck. Multiple arm fractures, cracked ribs, and jaw injuries were among the consequences of the truck driver’s poorly considered reaction. An $850,000.00 settlement was granted the plaintiff on behalf of the three defendants, including the initially reckless driver, the truck driver, and the trucking company in response to claims of alleged head, brain, neck, shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, hand, chest, and abdomen injuries.
