The trooper’s vehicle was parked on the eastbound side of the interstate when it was struck by a 22-year old Missouri man. The officer was not in the vehicle at the time, and was able to leave the scene without medical attention. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
