Missouri Highway Patrol officials say the other vehicle failed to stop following the accident and immediately left the scene. The woman in the Ford Focus was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment for her injuries following the accident.

The two men in the truck suffered mild-to-moderate injuries and were taken to Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

The accident reportedly occurred just before 2 a.m. on Sunday.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck was uninjured.
