The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Dream on Me Inc. of Piscataway
New Jersey announced a voluntary recall of Happy Swing II infant swings.
The company cites the reason for the recall being the opening between
the tray and seat or the grab bar and seat can allow a childs body to
pass through and become entrapped at the neck. This poses a strangulation
hazard to young children if the belt is not engaged. There have been no
The Happy Swing II is a fabric infant swing that comes in red and green
with a tray and grab bar attachment. The model I style number included
in the recall is “432” which is printed on a label on the
frame of the swing. This product was sold nationwide at Juvenile product
stores as well as CSN stores. It was also online at Wayfair and Amazon.com.
The swings were sold from October 2010 through September 2012 and they
were manufactured in China.
Consumers should stop using the recalled swings immediately and cantact
