Two Firefighters Injured In Accident While Responding To A Call

Two firefighters were injured in a crash Monday, November 25, while responding to a call near Ozark, MO. Jason Stephens, 29, was driving the fire truck with two passengers, one of which was J.N. Cloyd, 19.

Reports state that one tire left the roadway, hitting a culvert, which caused Stephens to overcorrect and run off the left side of the road, striking a ditch, fences, and two trees.

The two were taken to a nearby hospital in Springfield, MO. Stephens suffered a compressed vertebra, and broken toe, while Cloyd suffered a concussion. The third firefighter on board was not hurt.
