Crash in McDonald County Takes 2 Lives
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2006 Ford F150 failed to negotiate a curve on MO 59, two-miles north of Noel, and struck a 1998 Mercury Mystique head-on around 11:00 a.m.
The driver of the car, 28-year-old Ashley Tharp of Pineville, Missouri, and a passenger, 27-year-old Cody Blevins of Sebastian, Florida, were killed. A 7-year-old boy, also a passenger of the car, was airlifted to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the truck was not injured, according to troopers.
